WorthWaitCamera
A digital disposable camera for iPhone and Android. A roll of 24, a fixed 35mm lens, no preview, and the roll develops 24 hours later. No account, no cloud, no AI. Made in Querétaro, Mexico, by a documentary photographer.
At a glance
The numbers that define the camera, and the facts a story needs.
The story
Every camera app wants to show you more. WorthWait shows you nothing for a day. That is the feature.
You load a roll of 24 exposures, shoot through a single 35mm lens with no preview and no second chances, and rewind. The roll develops 24 hours later. There is nothing to check after each shot, so people look longer before they press the shutter, and they stay in the moment instead of in the screen.
Three films of its own, Negative, Positive and Flat, plus Original, are chosen for the whole roll the way you would load film. Each was built by measuring real film references, not with generic filters. The 35mm frame is the classic street lens. The rewind even clicks like a crank.
WorthWait has no account, no cloud, no server and no AI. Photographs never leave the phone unless the person shares them. It was made by one photographer, in Mexico, in English and Spanish from the first day. Shooting and developing are free; Plena, a one-time purchase, adds 36-exposure rolls, developing without the wait and Camera Only.

Dennis Berti
Dennis Berti is a documentary photographer based in Querétaro, Mexico, with twenty-five years behind the camera. He has judged for the most important international wedding photography associations, Fearless Photographers, ISPWP, WPPI, including the WPPI print competition, and MyWed, and for the Fotografi-Cameramani.ro contest in Romania. Italian by birth, he has lived in Mexico since 2005. He teaches photography at coachdefotografia.com.
WorthWait is his first app. He built it for the way he shoots: one lens, a limited roll, and the habit of looking before pressing the shutter. The 24-hour wait is not a limitation. It is the point.
